One of the most interesting bulk ingredients for carp bait today.

Pure grinded larva-cocoons (pupae) of the silk moth Bombyx mori, without any additions. A very rich by-product from the silk industry. Commonly used in all kind of fish feed, especially (koi)carp for its easy acceptance, they really love it!

This is a protein- and fat-rich ingredient with a high nutritional value. High in polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially linolenic acid, also particularly high levels of lysine and methionine acids.

Very good instant response, especially interesting for use on pressured, commercial waters. It is possible to (partly) replace fishmeal with this (new) rarely used ingredient. Due to it's distinctive strong flagrance no other flavours are necessary.

Product character: fine gritty brown powder, strong flagrance

Suggested dosage direction per kg dry mix:

In carpbait use anything from 100gr to around 300gr for special (hook)bait, depending on other ingredients used. Lower the use of oil in your bait when using this ingredient.

In winter time use up to around max 10%.
